    Wendy Wortman has been a member of the KinderCare family since 2000.&nbsp; She began her journey as an assistant teacher in the two-year old classroom and grew within the company to her current position as a Center Director.&nbsp; Wendy prides herself on establishing great relationships with the families that her center serves.&nbsp; She is a supportive, growth oriented leader of a dedicated team of staff that provides the best care possible to all the children.&nbsp; Above all, Wendy is passionate about learning and development of young children.&nbsp; She is committed to building a safe, healthy and educational environment for each and every child to thrive in.&nbsp; You will always find Wendy with a smile on her face, and an her eagerness of working hard to meet the needs of every family that entrusts us with their children.<br /> &nbsp;

    Stephanie was born in the mountains of&nbsp;SW Virginia, right off the Blue&nbsp;Ridge Parkway. She moved to FL at age 11 and has also lived in SC, OK, FL, NC,&nbsp;and now VA.&nbsp;She lives her with her husband and three children, ages 20, 14, and 7. She attended college at Montreat College in Western NC. She holds a Bachelor's Degree is in Human Services with a Major in Family Science. She has used this degere and her experience to help others with their childcare and early education as a preschool teacher, preshool management, second grade teacher, private nanny, and community educator and tutor. She loves to work with children and families!

  • Ms. Monika Hasnat

    Ms. Monika has been a part of the KinderCare family since 1996.&nbsp; Over the years, she has served in several positions such as&nbsp;the&nbsp;Preschool and Kindergarten teacher, Program Specialist and Center Director.&nbsp; Currently, she is enjoying her role as the District Trainer and welcomes staff from several districts in the region at their on-boarding orientations and trainings.&nbsp; Ms. Monika has degrees in Business and Education and a wealth of experience.&nbsp; Her long term&nbsp;with&nbsp;the company as an employee as well as a former parent has allowed her to build great relationships all around.&nbsp;Her contribution to the field of early childhood education makes her a strong part of Knowledge Universe team. &nbsp;Ms. Monika values&nbsp;every moment spent&nbsp;with the children, and&nbsp;she strives&nbsp;to empower and inspire the dedicated professionals who share her passion for teaching and caring for each and every child.

  • Ms. Caitlin

    Ms. Caitlin has just recently joined our center here at Oak Leather and is excited about becoming a part of our team. Her mission is to provide the children with a safe and loving environment that will both prepare them for school, and provide them with skills needed to be successful in their life ahead. Ms. Caitlin has a one-year-old daughter who also attends our center and they both enjoy the time they spend here. She can not wait for many years to come as a member of the KinderCare family.

  • Ms. Fatima

    Ms. Fatima pursued and achieved a Bachelor's degree at Kabul University in Afghanistan. Once she achieved this, she began working at the Institute and Research of Agriculture. After moving to America and raising her children, she became interested in Early Childhood Education. She strongly believes her own children persuaded her to become involved with young children due to all the love and joy she gained from being with her own children. Ms. Fatima started as a food service staff and now as a teaching assistant in our Infant classroom. Ms. Fatima loves singing with the babies, as well as completing art projects and activities. She strives in energetic interaction as believes this type of engagement will help the children learn and grow and be the best they can be.
